Today we said goodbye to our dog Buddy. He was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months ago and this morning he woke with a cough that we knew was not going to go away.
We took a family walk this afternoon to the neighborhood park and played and took some pictures.

Buddy was an awesome dog. We adopted him from Boxer Rescue LA back in September of 2006. We walked him around the block and switched dogs with the staff. As we came back around, there was Buddy wagging his tail and “waving” at us. We knew we had found our dog. At the time we thought he was only about 1, but his super soft “puppy” fur never went away and his paper work from Boxer Rescue (which we thought was a typo) labeled him as 4.

Buddy was a great companion for us on many adventures; camping, hiking, beach days, working around the house and walking to the park. We will miss him bunches.
